Southern Thai Style Fried Chicken

Southern Thai Style Fried Chicken (Air Fryer version)

Ingredients:

·       6 chicken drumsticks or 4-6 thighs.

·       1-2 tablespoon Thai Style Fried Chicken spice mix.

·       ½ - 1 tsp kosher salt.

·       1 tablespoon All-purpose flour or rice flour for gluten free.

·       1 tablespoon oil.

·       2 tablespoons of shallots. (*optional )

Directions:

1.       Mixed spice mix and salt, add to a bowl with chicken then mix well.

2.       Marinate for at least 30 mins. (2-4 hours recommended)

3.       Add flour and oil then mix well.

4.       Fry in Air fryer, temperature 360-380 °F for 25-30 mins. (turn around halfway)

5.       Serve with fried shallot or fried onion. (*optional)

Recipe note:

No water, no salt added, air chilled chicken recommended.

Also great for marinated chicken for baking and grilling.
